Transform Unconscious Wounds & Restore Wholeness to Your System

All parts of you are welcome here.

Welcome! My name is Rasika and this is a place for those ready to awaken their true self and heal. For those who’ve been struggling for far too long—despite trying everything—with chronic stress, anxiety, overwhelm, nervous system dysregulation and so on. For those who finally want to find the peace and joy they know they deserve.

Join me on an inner journey towards lasting change. I’ll guide you in understanding and accepting all parts of your unique internal family system, leading to the healing and transformation you’ve been yearning for.

I know in my heart that what you seek is already within you. I am grateful and honored to support you in unearthing your true self, compassionately relating to all your parts, and experiencing a quality of life full of love, safety, and belonging.

My core belief is that the primary reason for toxic shame, pain, unhappiness and stuckness in life is unconscious wounds and trauma.

Unhealed wounds and trauma live in the body and subconscious mind. In extremely simplified neuroscience terms, this means that unprocessed overwhelming and intense experiences get stored in our implicit memory (the database of our unconscious memory) and encoded into our nervous system.

Whenever something happens in the present that reminds our system of that past unresolved experience, our nervous system automatically (below our conscious thinking) responds by trying to protect us through activating our fight, flight, freeze or shutdown states as if we were reliving it again. Over time, this can lead to chronically dysregulated nervous systems, operating on deeply ingrained neural pathways that drive our automatic thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and beliefs. This in turn shapes our perception of reality and our life experience without us being consciously aware of it. These patterns of being and relating to the world manifest as different parts of our psychology, or mind/ego states, each carrying their own hidden histories and burdens of the past pain, shame and conditionings.

My work is rooted in bringing the unconscious

parts of ourselves into conscious awareness

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Developed by Dr. Richard Schwartz, Internal Family Systems (IFS) is a therapeutic modality that forms the foundation of the work I do with those I serve. IFS offers a unique approach to chronic stress, overwhelm, trauma and emotional healing by relating to the internal parts of your psyche rather than just cognitive understanding and pathologizing. IFS views the mind as naturally multiple, composed of distinct parts (i.e. aspects of the mind, ego states, subpersonalities), many of which are formed around unconscious wounds of pain, shame, and conditionings and become extreme in their beliefs and emotions, leading to inner conflict and dysfunction. Central to IFS is also the concept of the core self, or true self known in many spiritual traditions as the soul, buddha nature, highest self, inner light, etc. The core self is the natural leader of the internal system and has inherent capacity to care for and heal the parts. Through inner dialogue, we begin to understand and attune to our parts needs, desires, and concerns. This process fosters deep self-compassion, internal harmony and a natural release of burdens, freeing the system to be in its natural, healthy and balanced state.

Somatic Work

Somatic originates from the Greek word soma, meaning “the living body experienced from within,” or as known to the self. Somatic work is an experiential approach to mind-body integration, emphasizing the inherent connection between the two. Unlike a “top-down” model, somatic work follows a “bottom-up” approach, using the body as a guide in the healing process.

While IFS is inherently somatic-based, I place special emphasis on body awareness in our sessions. Each session begins with an intentional practice of guiding you into a felt sense of embodiment. This felt sense serves as a powerful doorway to accessing your core Self, the primary healing agent in our work.

Throughout our parts work, we actively integrate somatic techniques such as grounding, breathwork, and mindful movement. These practices help us stay connected with the Self, relate to the experiences of our inner parts, and support the release of their wounds or trauma stored in the body, helping to heal and restore harmony within.
