Vegan Moon Milk with ashwagandha

To help destress and wind down from the day and prepare for sleep, here is a healthy warm drink containing the powerful plant medicine and adaptogen ashwagandha. This soothing aromatic drink helps calm the nervous system after a stressful day and promote sound, restful sleep.

Ingredients:

1 cup vegan milk of choice
1 tsp. ground ashwagandha powder
1/2 tsp. ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp. ground ginger
1/8 tsp of ground nutmeg
1 tsp. coconut oil
1 tsp. maple syrup

Directions:

  1. In a small pot, bring the milk to a low simmer (do not boil)

  2. Once the milk is hot, whisk in the ashwagandha, cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Gently simmer for 5 minutes.

  3. Remove from heat, stir in coconut oil and maple syrup
