Your skin naturally produces sebum, a form of oil that protects and hydrates your skin. However, too much of it can lead to oily skin, clogged pores, and acne. Unfortunately most people with oily skin who are prone acne are often using harsh chemical products that dry out their skin triggering it to produce more sebum due to the lack of moisture which only creates a vicious cycle of excess sebum & more breakouts

Here’s where people even with oily skin may benefit from an oil based skincare routine.

Oil attracts oil. So plant oils can actually regulate our skin’s sebum production and balance it by both providing necessary moisture and delivering antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties that help reduce redness, irritation and bacteria associated with acne. 

So be sure to wash your face twice a day with one of our oil based cleansers and follow with one of deeply moisturizing face oils or serums. Use one of micro-exfoliating masks 1-2 times a week to remove dead skin cells and bacteria.
